As this is our last blog post of the year, we thought it’d be nice for us to look back on what we have done this year. For us here at Inner Space Flooring, 2022 has been a great year!

As well as meeting some new clients and being able to carry out projects for them, we were also welcomed back by repeat clients! We love being able to continue working for our clients and provide them with the best wood flooring! One of the highlights for us this year was moving into our unit. This is something that has been happening over a lot of this year (especially the second half of 2022). We have been working hard at getting this just how we want it, and we love the result!

On top of being able to carry out work for people’s homes, we also do commercial projects! Two of these this year have been in Nottingham and Bristol. In Nottingham we worked with the University where they’re refurbishing a Florence Boot Hall, an Edwardian era building into a halls of Accommodation. Our remit for the project is the sand and restore oak floor in 90 bedrooms, install parquet in two large halls, as well as restoring oak parquet in the hallways and the stairs.

To be able to carry out as many projects as possible, we have expanded our team this year! As well as the new fitting teams, we also welcome Mart who is working behind the scenes as a business manager, and Steve who we’ve persuaded to hand up his tools take up the role of installation manager.

One floor type that we have done a lot of is reclaimed Parquet! Parquet is a great type of wood flooring and if you would like to hear more about this type of wood flooring and possibly get this installed into your own property then do not hesitate to get in touch with us! We are taking bookings so get in touch sooner rather than later to ensure availability.

Looking forward to 2023, we have many exciting things planned for the year ahead that we will be updating you all on over on our Facebook and Instagram (so be sure to go and follow us on there)! One of the main things we are looking forward to doing is welcoming more clients to the unit and being able to deliver the best service we can.
